We probably invited most of you here. But just in cases, you can learn a little bit about us below.
So who’s this Erik fellow anyway?
He’s an itinerant physicist with delusional aspirations of mountain guiding. After 8 years in research, he hasn’t quite decided what he wants to be when he grows up. He likes cycling, whitewater kayaking, boardgames and organizing. He needs to learn to take more pictures with people in them.
She’s a self-employed marketer who loves to make the rules and live by a less is more philosophy. Although she once had ambitions to run an outdoor sports company, 3 years of having the time to finally wear out her gear has left her content to remain a passionate customer. She loves trail running, snowboarding, trip planning, and competitive situations. She has a generally positive disposition, but strongly dislikes baby corns and useless souvenirs smaller than fist-sized.
What about us?
A romantic beginning, we met while on the ballroom dance team at the University of Wisconsin and quickly discovered that we also share a passion for the outdoors. We get along horribly while dancing, and famously while traveling. We also enjoy experimental cooking, reading fantasy books out loud, and occasionally, running.
Why Egg Breakfasts?
Because 20 grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking is the law. But seriously, we do have eggs for breakfast every morning, and it’s become somewhat of a running joke in the family. Try it, you’ll like it.
